I have a simple home network, my comp (Host) Sons comp (Client) connected
via crossover. We are both XP users and I have an adsl connection. whenever
my son switches his machine off after using the internet I have to go
through a routine on my comp (host) create network connection>then I see the
network bridge disappear> then I get a message saying cannot create
network>then I try create network connection again and it creates me another
network bridge with a higher number than the one before. This is ridiculous,
how can we remain connected without me having to go through this procedure?
and how do I retain control over access?

Use a reuter, however you wont be able to control access without specific
software
