I can get printers to network but how do I network programs so that I can use
a program on the other computer that has a lot more memory

Dear,

A network program not only consider the memory but there is a lot - Network
Traffic, Processor, Memory etc. I recommend to you to have a server then you
can easiky publish or assign the program through group policy.

You don't say what program, but in general you can not run programs across
computers in a workgroup unless the program is specifically designed as a
network program.

Thanks Bob c, so my Microsoft works office cannot be used by my other
computer which is what I have been trying to do. Thanks

No, Microsoft Works and Microsoft Office cannot be run over a network.
