hi can any one help me i am trying to link 2 computers on a hub i have to network cards ands leads and i run windows xp home do i have to ping then if so how do i do it please
You are not sending much information to offer help.
In XP Home, select run in the start menu and type ping (IP
addresses of the hosts that are connected via the hub).
E.g Ping 127.1.1.1 (not a real address). If you know the
host names you can use ping (computer).
Ask some of your friends for advice on names you could use.
