I have a three computer network where 2 machines are XP and the other is Win
98. The two XP's work just fine but I can't get the 98 on the LAN. The
network wizard on the XP says to use my Windows XP CD-Rom only I didn't get
one with either of the two XP machines. Is there a work around or how can I
get an XP-CD?

If Windows XP came preinstalled on your computer, you will need to contact
the vendor or manufacturer of the computer for the CD. As far as a work
around, I'm not experienced enough to answer that question. I'm sure
somebody on here can come up with a solution.

If you haven't purchased a copy of XP for the machine you cannot get a cd
unless paying for that but can if the XP cd for any of the other two
computers have license for more than one computer.

To join a 98 with XP networking visit here

Hope this helps. Thanks

is it possible to create a network setup disk from the xp pc without using
the main disk?
