Does anyone have any suggestions for making a windows xp machine network
with a windows 95 machine !
there is a usb linksys card in the 95, a linksys hub, the xp was pre-equiped
..
hub sees both (from the lights), xp sees the hub, 95 sees nothing. currently
just want the 95 for data storage without having to use sneaker-net...

thanks for any help

Windows 95 doesn't have support for USB... Think that could be the
problem? Upgrade to Windows 98 SE or later....

Thank you, but will Win 98 run in just 8 mb of ram ?

You can also try switching to a PCI network card instead of a USB card
