Networking with win ME

I have several pC's networked together with Win ME, Win XP, Win 2000.
Everything was working fine until today when I tried to lo onto my Win 2000
PC from my Win ME PC. I am somewhat familiar with Win 9x family of software,
but am unfamiliar with Win 2000.

I get a message that my password has expired and wants to know if I want to
log on the next time I start Windows. Is this message originating, like I
suspect, in Win 2000? It must be a fairly simple straightforward process to
change the expiration date to NEVER for other PC's to log onto the Win 2000
PC. I just don't know it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this:

Logon the Win2K system as Admin or with Admin rights.

Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel > User and Passwords.

Advanced tab > Advanced button.

Double click on Users folder.

Right click on applicable user name, then select Properties.

Under the General tab, enable "Password never expires".

Click on Apply & OK.

Do the same in the properties of any other users you want to change.
