Networking Windows XP and Me

The host is a (new) Dell Computer with XP. The other computer I want to
network is a laptop with wireless internet connection running Me.

I have already run network wizard on Dell. Next I believe I have to insert
XP c.d. into laptop and run XP network wizard and not Me wizard.

Problem is Dell did not ship a XP c.d. with the computer. How can I run the
XP network wizard on the laptop with Me if I don't have a c.d.

Thanks for anyones help in adance.

Where did you come up with the idea to insert XP CD on ME ?
Last time I ran network wizard
It offered to make a floppy to run on other boxes to add networking ,,, one
being a 98 box. I don't believe I ever used the floppy but assume it's
making life easy if you don't quite know how to set things up on the other
computers.

That was one of the options it gave on the same screen when it offered to
make a floppy. I didn't make a floppy because the Dell defaulted to F:
(removeable) I think because I don't have a floppy drive, just two c.d. rom
drives.

Despite what XP's Network Setup Wizard tells you, you don't have to
run it on any other computers. You can figure their network settings
manually.

If you want to run the Wizard on Me, copy this file to a CD or USB
flash drive on XP:

C:\Windows\System32\Netsetup.exe
