Have a networking problem where I can not see anymore the other computers in
my office or the internet. So I deleted the network card and restarted which
reinstalled the hardware but now it does not see anything. When I run
ipconfig it shows the correct 192.... address but not others. Tried to run
system restore to get back to when things were working but even with several
tries for different dates it would not restore. How can I fix either or both
problems.

Even prevented NAR from starting on startup and still no success.

Sorry I did not get back sooner but the computer connected to network again
for a while. Now it is not. I checked the System and it shows I am on the
network. My computer does not see the Front Desk but does see my Laptop,
which can see the Front Desk. Therefore it has to be something on my
computer. I deleted my network card built into my Soyo motherboard and let
WinXP-Pro reinstall which allowed me to see the Front Desk for a while. Now
it doesn't again.

Anyone know what is happening?

Also have not been able to get System Restore to restore my previous working
setup. Haven't checked any site yet to fix this. Wonder if it is connected
to my network problem.

Forgot to mention that the when trying to locate Front Desk from my computer
an error message comes up saying that "There is another with the same
computer name...". Don't know who since there are only 3 computers on the
network and Laptop can see Front Desk and I can see Laptop.
