Hi, I'm relatively new to networking and I have installed Widnows XP on a
laptop that has its own modem/ethernet ports. A week before I had been able
to connect to our network of two other computers but when I was trying to fix
a D-link DWL 810+, I modified the LAN settings to try and be able to detect
it.

Well, I got a "It's dead Jim, send it in and we'll give you a new one."
Unfortunately, I can no longer connect to the network on the laptop anymore.
Since we run a wireless network with a hub that is a Netgear WGT624, I'm not
sure if it is WEP which had been disabled to see if it could connect to the
network or if it is the network settings. The Network Set-up wizard will
complete the process with minimal fuss everytime I run it.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Logon to the D-Link from another PC and write down the configuration [or
print it from the screen].
