xp.network_web, for wireless windows.networking.wireless
Do the NGs in the two posts above include LAN or special devices (cameras)
that would be connected by using the ethernet?

You could post a message. However, ethernet is not wireless. A better
choice would be windows.public.windowsxp.network_web.
You will find more LAN questions asked and answered there.

For downloading from a camera, I prefer using a card reader and windows
explorer.

It's a very sophisticated camera not available to the public.
