Mario,

There are many possibilities for file sharing not working, and not too many
details that you've provided yet.

Let's do some diagnostic work, and see what the problem is.

Please provide ipconfig information for each computer.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.
Identify operating system (by name and version) with each ipconfig listing.

From each computer, test connectivity with the other 2:
1) Ping the first other by name.
2) Ping the first other by ip address.
3) Ping the second other by name.
4) Ping the second other by ip address.
5) Ping itself by name.
6) Ping itself by ip address.
7) Ping 127.0.0.1.
8) Ping the router.
Report success / failure of each test (24 tests total).

From each computer, test shares visibility (use actual name / address of each
computer as appropriate) with the other 2:
Start - Run then:
1) \\ThisComputerByName
2) \\ThisComputerByIPAddress
3) \\FirstOtherComputerByName
4) \\FirstOtherComputerByIPAddress
5) \\SecondOtherComputerByName
6) \\SecondOtherComputerByIPAddress
Report visibility of shares / error displayed in each test (18 tests total).

Chuck

Here's an easier diagnostic. One report for each computer.
Get SoftPerfect Network Scanner (free).
<http://www.softperfect.com/products/networkscanner/>
SNS will produce you a nice text report, showing all visible computers and
shares.
Install and run on each computer please:
Options - Auto Detect IP Range
Options - Program Options - Scan for shared resources, All, Resolve
host names
File - Start Scanning
File - Save Results
And attach 3 text reports.

Chuck

I would check some basics first.
Have you setup a home network in network places? Have you
turned on File and printer sharing? Have you shared your
c: drive on each machine, depending on what resources you
want to share. After all that I will run through the
diagnostics that Chuck provided.....those are good.
