Networking: dumb question?

I know I can get an adaptor to plug into a USB printer to give it bluetooth.
But is there anything I can plug in to give it ethernet (either wired or
wireless would do). (It's sometimes not going to be near a connected PC, but
it will be within range of the house router).

Yup. A so-called 'print server'. Lots on eBay, usually. Here's a UK
example, not necessarily the cheapest, but an example:

Many thanks, I suppose I should have been able to figure out the jargon. I'd
seen wireless routers with a USB but not anything like this (and I already
have a wireless router)
