networking between file systems

Chris

I have two machines running Windows ME and XP. However,
WinME cannot see NTFS so I don't think networking them
together will work since WinME is running FAT. I've
looked at practicallynetworked.com, but cannot find any
information on this. I think I'm better find a better
solution, huh?
 
The file system doesn't matter to the other system. Your setup should be
fine.
 
You will have no problem when networking multiple PC's
with different file systems.

That's a common belief, Chris, but it isn't true. I've written about
