networking a printer

Hi,
Ive managed to install my router a D-Link 604+ and connect both my
main computer & laptop to it.
I now want to link my laptop wirelessly to it to use the printer (USB
attached to the main computer)

Can anyone advise me how to do it please?

Hello
That will be a breeze
Go to the printer set it to share and name it. then go to the laptop
printers and faxes and add a printer and go through the wizard.

Thanks Haus, I've got as far as adding a printer now on my laptop, but
it's asking for a URL, how do I find this?

You should be able to browse for it, but if not, the URL will be

\\PCWithPrinter\Printer

where PCWithPrinter is the Name of the PC
and Printer is the Shared Name of the Printer

Sorted!

IPX/SPX wasn't installed (never heard of it myself, but my mate had
fortunatley!)

Once installed on both machines, it worked a treat!
