Networked Storage Solution?

D

DBS

I've got a case that's 3-4 years old and 4 hard drives, non larger
than 20 gigs or smaller than 8 gigs. I would like to place all 4
drives in the case, which still has a mobo and power supply,
and then be able to access the drives from my main pc.

This would be used strictly for long term storage, no program use.

Someone told me W2K has the capability of showing these
drives as one volume and then I'm assuming I would be able to
access the server case via ethernet.

Will it work? Does this seem like the best/cheapest solution?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, as long as the motherboard isnt too
geriatric and you can install W2K on it.
