Network win xp pro w/ win 98

I have 4 computers on a linksys hub. I initially had 3 w/ xp pro, and 2 98s
-worked fine. I just got a new computer, w/ service pak 2 installed. I
removed the firewall, the new computer sees the name of all computers but
will not access one of the 98s. The 98 sees the new computer name but says
cannot access. I don't understand why it doesn't work like the others.
Please help.

Do all the computers have TCP/IP installed? Sometimes you have to also
install the NetBEUI protocol. Check the CAT-5 cables. Check each NIC
card to see if the LINK/ACT lights are on. Are they in the same
workgroups (WinXP default is MSHOME, Win98 default is WORKGROUP).
