Network trouble

Hello,

A PC (XP Pro SP3) physically disconnected from the network, get a IP address !
The "ipconfig /all" command shows an IP address 136.x.x.x, in place of
"média disconnected" !

The problem on this PC is that we can't create a VPN. It's why we test the
network.

An idea ?

136 is not a linklocal range, and should not normally be on an internal
computer.

Check to see if the Advanced TCP/IP settings specify an alternate IP address
when DHCP is not available. This may be where it's coming from.

It 's not 136.x.x.x but 169.254.x.x
And, the Advanced TCP/IP settings is "alternate IP address automatic"
There is a DHCP server
And the same configuration exactly works well on others PC (same models)
