I have 3 computers, 2 w/XP Home, 1 w/ Win ME. All share
a Linksys Router, DSL connection.
No attempt has been made to Network the 3 re. print
sharing, folder sharing, etc., however I want to connect
the 3 w/ no restrictions re. sharing all available.
Do I have to assign each a Network Password?
Must all have the same protocol, i.e., Client for
MS .....
Other???

I tried to use the XP Network Wizard but (possibly
entered wrong config-gateway?) and ended up losing my DSL
(saw dial up), finally has to use "Restore."

Where can I find step by step instructions?
If set up properly can I access all between computers
and transfer data, programs, etc. from one to another?

Run the Network Setup Wizard again on each computer -- it will make
all the right settings.

If it asks, tell it that the computer connects to the Internet through
a residential gateway (which is what it calls your router). If it
shows more than one network connection, tell it that you'll choose the
connection, and un-check all except the one that goes to the router.
