Network Sharing problem with two XP home compters

I have been working on this for hours. I have two computers running XP Home
connected via linksys router on a network. Both have same workgroup, guest is
enabled. They can both see each other on the network. Computer 2 can access
everything shared on comp 1. Comp 1 cannot access any shared resources on
comp 2. When trying, I get a "the user has not been granted the requested
logon type at this computer." They both have the same users and passwords.

I'm toast. any help would be great.

Thanks.

I forgot to mention, Windows firewall is disabled on both. Print and file
sharing is set. Netbios over tcp/ip set.

The problem and the solution are on the computer that can't be
accessed.

Run XP's Network Setup Wizard on that computer -- that's often all
that's needed. If that doesn't fix the problem, here's the solution
for XP Home Edition:

1. Download and install the Windows 2003 Server Resource Kit Tools
from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=4544 .

2. Click Start | All Programs | Windows Resource Kit Tools | Command
Shell.

3. Type these lines at the command prompt. The second and third
commands are case-sensitive, so type them exactly as shown. Note the
"+r" in the second one and the "-r" in the third one:

net user guest /active:yes
ntrights +r SeNetworkLogonRight -u Guest
ntrights -r SeDenyNetworkLogonRight -u Guest

Steve,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I skipped the Network Setup Wizard because I've had problems in the past
with it messing with my settings.

I went straight to the download and followed the command prompts and it
worked beautifully!!!!!

I should have posted here first and saved the hours of research and trial
and error.

Thanks again!!!!!
