Network setup wizard-need help

I am using a Dell Inspiron laptop running XP on a home wireless network. My
other computer is a Micron PC running windows 98. Both work fine accesing the
internet.

I am now setting up the two to share files and programs.

I've run the Network setup wizard to the point where it attempts to create a
network setup disc. When it prompts to create the disc I get this message:

"The wizard has detected that this computer has no floppy drives or other
removeable media. You need such a device to create a network setup disk".

Windows control panel shows the CD_R drive as D. My computer has a cd-r
drive anyone have an idea what gives?

Tim,

There's no need to run the network setup wizard on either computer. You can run
it on either, if you wish. If running it on the XP computer doesn't easily
create a removable disk for you to take to the other computer, you can do
manually what needs to be done.

This article contains a list of what the NSW does for any given setting:

As Chuck said, there's no need to run the Wizard on the other
computer. If you want to run it, copy the Wizard's executable file to
a CD-R or USB flash drive:

C:\Windows\System32\Netsetup.exe
