network repair

When I repair Local Area Connection I'm getting the error ' could not finish
repairing because the following action cannot be completed: Clearing the DNS
cache' any help?

Start | Run | Type: cmd | OK |
When the command prompt opens, type:

ipconfig /flushdns

Hit the Enter key.

If you still get the error >>>
Repair Connection
The following steps of the repair operation failed:
Purging the DNS Resolver cache.
Please contact your network administrator or ISP.

Close the command prompt.

Try this...

Start | Run | Type: services.msc | OK |
Scroll down to and double click: DNS Client |
Make sure that it is set to Automatic and that it is Started.

Scroll down to and double click: Network Connections |
Make sure that it is set to Automatic and that it is Started.
Close Services.

Try this...
Start | Run | Type: cmd | OK |
When the command prompt opens, type:

IPCONFIG /release

Hit the Enter key.

Type:

IPCONFIG /renew

Hit the Enter key.

Close the command prompt.
