After I got the last MS update (2.0), my wireless network
disappeared on my desktop - I have two desktop and one
laptop connected to a Linksys wireless network through a
router, all with XP home.

When I access then Wireless Network Connection box, and
look under "Available Networks", nothing appears. I
hit "refresh" and nothing happens.

Under "Preferred Networks", the name of my network
appears, but I cannot get it up to the "Available
Networks" box. Any suggestions?

Milt,

Is SSID broadcast enabled on the router?

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
