Hello.

I have Windows Vista Ultimate and I noticed that
my network connection is unusable. I have to disable
and re-enable my NIC from Network properties to
keep it going again.

Has anyone experienced this?

I have to say yes. I first experienced this upon first build.

I have also experienced this under XP SP-2. However only on my wireless
connection.

I havent searched for or cared about a fix as it was simply turning the
device off and back on again.

Thank you all for responding. I think Vista has
updated the driver on my onboard 10/100 NIC
because I have hibernated my machine several
times today and in all instances, the network
connection was active after hibernation.

Sorry. I'm testing Windows Vista Ultimate RTM
on an old Dell Optiplex.
