network printing

I have a print server and I can not print from Vista or server 2003, I can
ping the ip address of the printer, I can web access the printer but when I
send a job to the printer it errors out. Can anyone assist me with this issue?

Not really with the limited information you have provided.

Does the device support RAW or LPD? What network printer port monitor are
you using?

The print server is a HP jetdirect 300x and it accepts either mode. The
printer is a brother HL5140 and I have the latest drivers. The ip address is
internally allocated; however, at this time the address is 192.168.0.102 and
it was made a static address for testing purposes. The other computers (XP)
can print without any problems to the this ip address.
