Network printing from 2000 machine to local printer on xp machine?

Hi,

I have 3 machines. 2 are XP. One is 2000. On one of the xp machines
there is a local printer. They are all networked together in a
workgroup. The xp machine without a printer can print to the xp
machine with the printer. The 2000 machine when you go to control
panel, add printers, the browse for printers the shared network
printer does not show up although the xp machine with printer does. If
you type in \\nameofxpmachine\share name of printer and press finish
it does accept this but it doesn't work when you try to print. What
could fix this thankyou.

Did you load the W2K driver for distribution on the XP box, or manually install the network printer on the W2K box?
