network printers

Hi everyone,

At my autobody shop I have three computers running on a peer-to-peer
network. One of the computer which is running windows XP pro is directly
connected to the Xero printer. I wanted to setup a network printer from my
windows 2000 professional computer. I setup and it works beautifully until i
restart the PC which has windows xp pro that has the xerox printer connected
to it. Once i restart that PC, i can't print anymore. What i learned was
that I have to reconnect to that PC every single time by typing in the
"\\jlb-1 in the address bar. Then it ask me for a user name and password. Is
there anyway to beat this problem so theWindows XP professional computer
that is connected the printer does not disconnects my WIndows 2000 pc from
printing. Is there a solution to this problem. Basically, I want my Windows
2000 computer to be connected the printer no matter if the person on Windows
XP computer restarts the pc or not.
