Network Printer TCP/IP Port Installation Problem

I have 4 wired network PCs, 3 w/XP SP2 and 1 w/Vista Business. I am
installing a networked Ricoh 3500n laser printer. This printer was
sucessfully installed on one of the XP machines. When I tried to install on
the two other XP machines, I was unable to sucessfully install a TCP/IP port
using the printers IP address. When I entered the IP address and clicked OK,
I received the error msg. "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close". The Explorer would then restart and the printer installation
was aborted.

I have seen this happen when the SNMP binaries are

replaced by another

Use sfc /scannow in a cmd window to replace

swapped system binaries or check in the WINNT and WINNT\system32
directories and verify
