Network Printer Help!!

I tried to install a laserjet 4000N using jetadmin software. It did not
work. I added the jetadmin port. I then used the hp network printer
installed and that worked. I tried to delete the printer with the incorrect
port, but am getting and error that closes the printer window. Is there a
way that the printer can be deleted?

Have you tried to install the HP local (even if it do't
exist) Then change the port to LPT2. Then take the tick
from the jet direct port and put in LPT! box. You should
now be able to delete the ghost port. Then you can delete
all the other LPT!/ LPT2 devices in the normal windows...

Let me know if this don't work and better dtails of the
