network password

Hi,
I have just re installed xp pro onto one of my networked computers but when
I try to access from my other networked computer (using win 98se) I'm asked
for the password? How do I get the password if I don't know it or take it
off completely?
 
you must have the same username on the winxp computer that you have on the win98 computer. in addition, they must have the same password. if you do not wish to have identical usernames on both computers, just enter the winxp computer's administrator username and password when prompted on the win98 machine. the default administrator username is administrator, and the password is the same as the one you supplied during winxp's setup. if you did not specify one, it will be blank.
