Hi there

I have to PCs on a wireless, IEEE network

Both are XP

Host is XP Professional
Client is XP Home

The Host has the broadband internet connection

The client is browsing the connection fine.

However, in 'My network place' I am not successfully sharing files.

When I click on 'View workgroup computers'

It tries for a while, but very soon I get an error message:

"Mshome is not accessible. You might not have persmission to use this
network resource. Contact the admininstrator of this server to find out if
you have access permissions.

The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available".

I have ran 'Set up a home or small office network' a number of time... but
can't get it to work

Please HELP!!

I use to get that but found that norton firewall was blocking the file
access to and from the other pc except internet connection so you mite wanna
have a look at your firewall settings and configure any network settings it
has on norton open Internet Security, Security Monitor, goto Select a Task
choose Set up Home Network
if you are using a different firewall have a look in there settings you may
find a similar section.
