Network on my Computer

I bought a used laptop computer and it was part of a
network. When the computer starts up it automatically
goes to the network beginning (it asks for the user name
and password). I do not know how to get the computer to
start up off the network or how to disable the neywork
start-up.

Any help would be appreciated.

The folks you bought the laptop from should be able to either give you a
valid login so you can change network settings or remove it from the network
and set you up with a valid login. Otherwise, there's nothing we can do for
you here.
