Network not available when resuming from standby

My desktop (XP sp2) loses its network when resuming from standby. Only a
reboot helps. Any ideas?
 
Turn off Standby.....Control Panel / Display Options / Screen Savor Tab /
POWER Button , Set Standby to NEVER.
 
Thanks John, but I do want to use standby to avoid the long boot cycles (and
save some power). I found an article from MS that states that this is a known
bug in xpsp2 but the hotfix did not fix my problem.
 
When that happens, I just 'repair' my LAN connection.
I have also turned off Windows power management on my NIC.
