I've had everything set up and working for a year. Just recently went to
print over the network and got an "unable to connect" from both machines. The
printer server is set up on a laptop over wireless. I've rolled back all
machines to last week when it worked, but this didn't help. Has Microsoft
recently changed something?
Live one care firewall settings are different everytime I check them, but
the File/Print share is checked on. All computers are seeing the network but
"do not have permission" when I try to go into it.
When adding a network printer none appears under the print server. When
searching a computer by ip address the printer is there, but when I try to
connect, the "printer was typed incorrectly." Have tried adding the printer
again on server under a new name. This didn't help.
Remote Desktop is working. I'm really stumped...
Please help.

Can you open shares (not printers) on each computer from
another?

If not, you could check http://winhlp.com/wxnet.htm for the
solution.

Hehe, some nice problems go away on their own. I like those too.
