Network Neighborhood not showing nodes

S

Spike

Windows 2000 SP4
384 Meg RAM
100 MHz Peer Network linked through switch
2 nodes - LAP and DESK

I used to be able to click on Network Neighborhood and see both nodes.

Now when I click, I see Entire Network icon. I click it and get SEARCH FOR
COMPUTERS. If I put "*"(asterisk) in the search box, I get the following
response: Search is complete. There are no results to display. If I type
LAP, I get the icon indicating the connection to LAP is valid.

How do I get Network Neighborhood to show all nodes at once?

Below is a copy of my IPConfig /all run:

Here is the answer: I had the Computer Browser service set to manual. After
resetting to automatic and starting it, everything works fine.

Good. But...Did you put the DNS-numbers in the nic yourself? It should point
to your server- or routerIP, in your case the 192.168.1.100.
