I recently moved from a windows 2000 desktop to a new XP Notebook and now I
have a few problems. When I boot up my notebook everything seems to work
fine but I am unable to print to the Windows 200 server, I need to manual
open a connection to the server through "My Network Place" and then type in
my login ID and Password. Is there anyway to automate this so it
automatically connects with the server?

Do you have a printer installed? If so, it should be reconnecting each time.
Is there a login script that runs at startup? If so, open a command prompt and
manually run the script and see if there are any errors reported (they'll be
listed on the screen).

The printer is installed on the other windows 2000 machine, currently their
is no script that runs when trying to connect to the network, if I'm correct
when I turn on my notebook it tries to login to the network but can't so
when ever I try and print it has no network connection. So I need to
manually open the network neighbourhood and then type in a User ID and
Password, after that everything's fine.
