Network Load Balancing

Can you install the Network Load Balancing component from
Windows 2000 Advanced Server onto Windows 2000 Server
without installing any other applications?

I have read that you can install the Network Load
Balancing Component onto Windows 2000 Server but you have
to install Windows Application Center 2000.

Hi Terry -

No, you cannot install NLB on Windows 2000 Standard Server without
installing Application Center 2000. However, in Windows Server 2003, NLB
does ship in Standard Server, as well as Enterprise Server.
