DCHP & Network Load Balancing

Is it possible to use Network Load Balancing & DHCP on the
same server ?

I have a pair of windows 2000 servers with network load
balancing enabled in multicast mode. Port rules are
defined solely for http and https. The load balancing is
working fine.

However, one of the servers was also acting as a DHCP
server and it stopped responding to DHCP client requests
once load balancing was enabled.

Any suggestions ?

As the port rule is setup for http and https only, DHCP traffic will not be
go thru on the network adapter on which is NLB is enabled. I suggest you to
get a second network adapter and use that for DHCP traffic.
