Network is broke since installing ADSL

I had two machines networked through a hub in my home and it was working OK.
I switched from dialup to ADSL and now my home network is unavailable.
I tried everything but no luck. All I end up doing is losing my ADSL connect to
the net.

Right now I have only ADSL on one machine through a WAN miniport but although it
is working fine the network settings say it is disconnected.

My ADSL is connected to the hub as well.
Any ideas on how to fix this mess.
Thanks

The PC that is using the ADSL modem has a differnet IP address subnet scheme
that to not working one. You will need to replace the hub with a broadband
gateway router. The router had a special port which would allow the ADSL
modem IP address be shared with all the other PCs correctly (WAN port on
router). The on the LAN part of the router, you may have 4 standard LAN
ports, or connect your hub to the router, and then all PCs can use the same
IP address submet scheme so that the home network still works.

You need a router, not a hub. See

I don't understand.
I had ADSL a year and a half ago and had THREE computers networked with this
same hub without problems. Why don I need a router now?

I have multiple ips avalable through my provider (3) but a router does look
easier.

I'd go with the router, check your adsl modem, some newer ones have built in
router and more than one plug on the back. If you do get a router be sure to
get one with a printer port, very handy.
