Hello,
Can anyone tell me if it's even possible to hide or
disable the Network Identification tab of the System
control panel? It used to be supported on Win9x platforms
using NoNetSetupIDPage in the registry. Any insight is
appreciated.

Thanks,
Doug Cote

You can cripple it a bit in Group Policies under User Configuration,
Administrative Templates, Network, Network and Dialup.

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, those policy
settings would only appear to apply to LAN configuration,
not network / domain identification. Do you know
specifically which settings would be enabled in order
to "cripple" the Network Identification functions? I'm
looking for a way to prevent anyone, including admins,
from having access to the domain/workgroup properties.

Thanks again,
Doug
