Network Hardware Sharing Problem

Hi,

I've been trying to network two computers together. I'm running XP Pro on
both and using a DSL modem and D-Link gaming router. Internet sharing is
working fine, but my problem is that computer A can use the HDs on computer
B, but not the reverse. I've setup sharing for each set of drives in the
same manner. Both computers can see each other in Work Group and My
Networks. I've checked everything I can think of, from firewalls to
uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing changes the problem issue.

Finalising, Computer B is told that it cannot access the drives on Computer
B, even though permission to share has been designated on Com. B's drive
settings.

Anyone have any hints at what I've missed?

Thanks.

S.

The first thing I would try is to temporarily turn off both firewalls
(unplug your internet connection first) to see if that fixes it.

OK. Tried it, no change. I did notice, though, that the subfolders of the
HDs I've designated for sharing, on Comp. A, do not show that sharing is
activated. I've activated sharing for the drive, but the subfolders don't
show it.

Let me throw in a part of the error msg. Aside from the address listed in
the error, along with contacting admin. recommendation, was "not enough
server storage is available to process this command." That doesn't make
sense, to me, as Comp. B has almost nothing on it (it's new), almost nothing
running on it, and 1Gb of memory.
