Network file copy aborted

When trying to a copy a file from my network drive to my
hard drive, it seems to be copying over and eventually
comes up with an error message stating "Cannot
copy 'file': the I/O operation has been aborted because
of either a thread exit or an application request". In
addition, another of my network users cannot save files
back to the network drive, getting an "out of memory or
disk space" warning - both of these areas seem to be have
a large capacity left.

Anyone got any thoughts???
