Network file access

Does anyone know how to be able to access the program file and windows
directories on a network drive? Windows says the files are in use and won't
let me into the directory.

Please give us a little more detail here. Domain or workgroup? Server
os? I assume your workstations are XP. Have your created user accounts
on the server? Make sure they are identical to the workstation
accounts, including passwords. Have resources been appropriately shared
on the server?
