Network Error (tcp_error)

I recently switched from Dreamweaver to FrontPage 2003 for my website. It
seems that I can access the site from many different places except my work
computer. I have had other people try here and it will not work for them
either - we get a message that says "Network Error (tcp_error) - A
communication error occurred: "Operation Timed Out" - The Web Server may be
down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding
to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time."

What could be causing this? I spoke with the IT folks here and they said
that either the site is "black listed" or it could be a problem on the
sending end. I used to be able to access the site before I switched to
FP2003.

Any suggestions?

FrontPage uses the internet connection data that is created / maintained by
Internet Explorer.

Can you access the web via IE??
Have you granted FP "internet access" in the firewall??

I'm sorry - I don't understand what you are asking.

I have access to the web via IE at work. I have always been able to connect
to the site until I switched from publishing in Dreamweaver to FrontPage
2003. I have never had to grant access before with a firewall - does a site
published in FrontPage react different to the settings?

Check that the FP.exe is not being blocked by your AV, Windows Security settings, or your IT

So are you telling me that anyone who publishes their website in FP might be
blocked on some computers? That doesn't seem right!? I never had this
problem with Dreamweaver....
