network drive files

Hi Folks,
I was wondering if there is a way to configure my network shares to drop
deleted files into a trash bin instead of just deleting them permanently from
the server as happens when deleting files from network drives. When I go to
the file server and deleted files from the shared folders those files are put
in the server's trash bin. When I delete files from the same shares at a
workstation system via the network drives those files are just permanently
deleted. Is there a way to make these files be dropped into a trash bin first
on the client machine or anywhere else? Thanks ahead of time!

You would need some 3rd party software to do that, OR move them to your
harddrive and THEN delete.

If the share is on a windows 2003 server ntfs disk, you could enable shadow
copies.
this isnt exactly what you are asking for, but it would allow you to
"undelete" files deleted from your share by mistake.
