Network Connections Box at Start up

Guest

I receive this box at start up, and here is what it says:
"You (or a program) have requested information from reachability.aol.com.
Which connection do you want to use?
--virutal private connection
--aol
--aol dialer
--american online"
I am having no trouble connecting to AOL. I have to put a check in the box
that
says, "remind me later after I am online". Question: how can I eliminate this
Network Connections box from appearing at start up. Thank you very much

Your first step is to remove the viruses and other types of malware on your
computer.

Steve,

I've just got the same problem today as I turned on Internet Connection
Sharing for a little bit. After I turned it off this message continue to
appear on every new network request although my connection was alive.
Pressing Cancel successfully loaded my page but still it is very annoying. I
found a solution though. Open Control Panel/Network
Connections/Advanced/Remote Access Preferences and uncheck My location in
the Enable autodial by location list box. This option removed this annoying
window and my internet experience is now as it was before I enabling ICS.

Keep in mind that this could be a virus or malware problem, so check your
system first.

HTH,
