Network Connection

Please could you help

I am having problems with a network connection via a
gateway router between 2 computers running on Windows 2000
set to obtain an IP address automatically.

The connection works one way only. The second computer
does not allow access to the first - a dialog box appears
saying "log on failure: The user has not been granted the
requested logon type at this computer". All user
accounts are enabled - can you help.

On the second computer create a user account with the same user name and
password as that used to logon to the first computer.

On the second computer, go to Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy.
Expand Local Policies and select User Rights Assignment. Double click on
the first entry - Access this computer from the network - and add the user
account created above. Reboot both machines.
