its not clear about network connection options in Dell Inspiron 1545
laptop:

Does it have built-in modem? There is only dial-up internet connection where
laptop will be used.
Does it possible get wireless connectivity with dial-up connection?
Also not clear about wireless network card - does this model support only
802.11g standard?
Most manufacturers offer more wireless standards: 802.11b/g/n.

You get what you pay for. That's what the "customize" or "personalize"
buttons are for.

1. It doesn't appear to have a built-in modem, and Dell doesn't appear
even to offer a modem as an option for the Inspiron 15 series

2. Wireless connectivity to what with a dial-up connection? There are
few, if any, wireless routers that will connect via dial-up, so if you
wanted to connect this laptop to the Internet via wifi, you would have
to have *another* computer connected to your dial-up access and then
share the Internet connection from that computer to the new laptop via
wireless. This is possible, but not a very satisfactory configuration.

3. Dell appears to offer 3 wifi adapter options for the Inspiron 15
series: Dell Wireless 1397 802.11g Mini-Card, Dell Wireless 1515
Wireless-N Mini-Card, and Intel® Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card
