network connection : an unexpected error

Start | Control Panel | Internet Connections.
left mouse once or twice: nada
right moust click on the wireless connection
labled "Local Area Connection Enabled" yields

"An Unexpected Error Ocurred" (do tell!)

With the "Local Area Connection Enabled" is the
identity "Intel(R) PRO/100 M Mobil Connection"

In the registry is a picture I will post in the next
'reply' - If You do not like graphics, DO NOT OPEN IT.
