Am I able to use my Win XP Pro to act as a server and network two other
clients that are running 2000Pro without having to buy a CAL pack or
anything?
Thanks in advance.

Win XP Pro and 2000 Pro are both client operating systems. Neither of
them is a server operating system.

That means that they can share files and printers with each other, but
neither of them can act as a domain controller or DNS server.

Share the desired disks/folders on the XP Pro computer. Access them
in My Network Places on the 2000 Pro computer.

There's no need for a CAL pack.
