netstat (not 'netstats') is a system utility on Win2K, "netstat -a" will
show
at the Command Prompt, all your active connections.
How do you know it's coming from a remote netstats.exe?

We are talking about netstatS.exe (not the MS netstat program) which is a remote desktop utility. The file came in via The Zone and is currently being blocked by my firewall. The program tries to connect at random over NETBIOS ports 135-136-137-138-139 to remote servers. The result of having nestats.exe running is: computer crash, BSOD.
